Inwood Hill Park Tennis Courts

The park has nine outdoor clay courts that are generally well maintained and clean, with some courts having shade; however, a few nets need tension and some courts could benefit from resurfacing.

Players must have permits to play during the season, limiting overcrowding. One court is often reserved, leaving effectively eight available. Some find the membership requirement and access policies restrictive and unfair.

A seasoned pro coach, Russ Cormier, offers lessons at very good prices suitable for all levels. However, some players report that the coach and staff can be hostile and condescending.

The community includes friendly and enthusiastic players, described as a family of tennis players, but there are concerns about the staff's attitude toward community members.

Courts and surrounding areas are cleaned regularly by park staff; overall cleanliness is good despite some dust and noise issues from nearby traffic.
